New Dying Light 2 Update Finally Adds Photo Mode, Patch Notes Reveal

And while it took a few months to get here, the feature will finally be rolling out the next day.

In addition to adding a portrait mode, this patch will also make a large number of other modifications to the game. To coincide with this update, death light 2 You also get your first free “chapter” of content. Basically, this is a new piece of DLC for the game titled In the footsteps of Nightrunner It will introduce a new character and a special mission among many other features.

  • Chapter Agent – Meet Harper, a former Night Runner who acts as a linker for new features. Find him in the fish eye restaurant and help him bring down the injured.
  • New Ranking System – Discover a system that strengthens the relationship between you and the agent by carrying out their tasks.
  • DAILY AND WEEKLY REWARDS – Go head-to-head in a series of daily and weekly nighttime activities that will earn your reputation points upon completion.
  • Unlockable Items – With enough reputation points, you can rank up to unlock access to high-quality weapons, outfits, and consumables.
  • 2 New Coins – To purchase these new items, you will first need to collect Mutation samples from the corpses of the Special Infected and obtain unique Harper’s Tokens with each new rank.
  • New Enemies – Face a deadly and ferocious infectious contagion, a volatile tyrant, and a volatile cell.
  • Chapter Mission – In this mission, you will have to endure time trials that will test your stealth, parkour and fighting skills to the limit.

photo mode

Due to popular demand, we decided to implement photo mode! This feature will be available in single player mode, and you will be able to turn it on in most situations. However, due to the complex parkour mechanics, it may not be available in some movement sequences or poses.

  • Multiple camera processing options, including aperture, focus distance, zoom in and out, and pan, will help you create dynamic screenshots.
  • Color adjustments such as temperature, exposure, saturation, contrast and vignette, with the addition of filters, will make every photo delightful with climate and style.
  • Special effects will allow you to create unique sequences straight from action movies.

With every update we always bring hundreds of fixes to our game and update 1.4.0 is no different. Aside from the introduction to chapters and picture mode, we focused on gameplay issues reported by our players and discovered by our QA team.

      • Fixed a bug during A Place to Call Home quest that did not allow players to advance in a story on PlayStation

      • Fixed “Message of the Day” issues during game launch in Traditional Chinese
      • Incorrect display of menu formatting on the “Events” tab while playing the game in Japanese has been fixed
      • Fixed “Continue” and “Options” buttons overlapping in the main menu on Xbox
      • The directional pad control in the Events tab has been fixed on Xbox
